digging out

This is why I'm not at work today. They closed state offices in the county to the north, but apparently they thought 20+ inches of snow in this county just wasn't enough. Here's the view up the driveway.

It's a good thing the snowblower started.
Remember "The Coneheads" from Saturday Night Live? The bird feeder reminds me of them. Note the chickadee in flight.

Nice picture of the chickadee, but what's all that white stuff?

Awesome chickadee picture! I clicked on it to enlarge and the details are terrific. We wound up with 17 inches and a snow day for the kids and for Art. I got a confirmation from Mike Hendrickson today for the pelagic trip!

pablo...come on, I saw some of that stuff in Misery when I was there...

Lynne- Total luck, I wanted to get a picture with at least one bird at the feeder, and that one took off just as I was clicking the shutter. I love the wing feathers.

I got an email from Mike too today. I can't wait!

Coinkydinkly, I just recieved SNL first and second season DVD's in the mail from Netflix.
Time for my kids to learn about Samurai Divorce Court and Land Sharks.

From down here, all that snow looks wonderful!!

Yeah, I'm sure it does. I'm sure you've never endured an ailment called "cabin fever" as well.

Netflix alert!!! I may have to get those early seasons. Samurai Divorce Court sounds great! I don't remember a whole lot, but I remember anything circa 1977 on.

Wow! I'm still recovering from shovelling wet heavy stuff last week, but it wasn't that deep. I've been meaning to get a picture of the glacier I've built where I push it all into the back yard.
