frosty morning

This is quite a wintery scene for one of the last days of winter, but it did get down to 5 degrees last night. On the other hand, I saw a huge flock of robins in town yesterday, and one solitary red winged blackbird this morning. Slowly but surely, spring will arrive.

Sure does look pretty, but cold there.

Deb, when I loaded your blog page, it came up very weird. No posts, a white background, and only the text that's on the right side of the template shows up. I scrolled down and clicked on march archives to get here. Just thought you might want to know, even though there's nothing you can do about it, just Blogger going insane.

All appears to be back to normal now. Whew.

It's shaping up to be another cold night tonight, clear skies means cold temperatures. I think the frost on the bushes near the stream was due to the open water of the stream, which made water vapor that condensed on the branches. I didn't see much frost anywhere else.

That's a stunning photo! I love the shaft of sunlight, the subtle palette, and the wonderful contrasts.

Thanks, I was on my way to work but I just had to stop and capture that scene. That's Sand Creek, right on our land, by the way. I love the reflection of the backlit shrubs in the water.
