FC-It is my goal to explore this place with our boat. We have a 14 foot V-hull with 25 hp motor, nothing too fancy, but it would be so fun to get to know it up close and personal!
That's a beautiful area. I forget what it's like to have a large, open, expansive view. Was the picture taken this October? If so, I'm amazed at how many more leaves we've got clinging to branches than you all do. Most of the year, it seemed we were plugging along on similar weather-world schedules.

God I love a marsh. I would rather be in a marsh than almost any habitat...even if it's only a freshwater one! :)

Actually it was taken last October, later in the month, but even so our leaves are starting to disappear in some areas.
