Great sunrise photo Deb, I was out at 5AM this morning hoping for a sky like that, (there's clouds and a storm coming our way) but no wild color today.
This was the most real-time photoblogging I've done thus far. Sunrise came about 7:40, just as The Hermit was leaving for the airport on his journey to madcap country. We said our goodbyes illuminated by this spectacle, then I rushed inside to upload photos. The post time says 7:50, slow connection and all. I was totally in awe.
Great colour! We had black turning to grey again while we had breakfast. Sigh! We did have some sun show through this afternoon however! Maybe a good sunset will come our way.
I hate to keep commenting on my own work, but I just realized this may be the most awesome photo I have ever taken. (The awesomeness was not my doing, I just happened to be there to capture it.) Actually, I have taken more good photos in the last few weeks than I have all my life. Digital cameras rule! :)

It's not coincidental that I start my mornings by coming to this blog!
We still have grey skies, so your sunrise is our colorful morning, as well! Beautiful.
Sometimes it looks as though we live in the same place!
Wow!

Looks like you're enjoying your camera.

My new desktop photo.
I had the same sunrise yesterday. Today was rain then snow.
Scraping time again. But I keep asking for more. Six more inches and I can use those new snowshoes!
Beautiful pic though.
