tomorrow's m.v.p.

I think I may have major league baseball's next big star right here...that is, if his first Little League outing is any predictor. According to Calvin (I wasn't there to see it, sorry) he went 3 for 3 at bat (3 homeruns, that is!) and fielded a triple play. (!) This from a boy who has more hours with a video game controller in his hand than a baseball glove.

I'm not holding my breath, of course, and I keep telling him that there's always room for improvement, but with the salaries of major league ballplayers nowadays, this is looking good...

Sounds great! Especially as an alternative to the gaming. We've been worried about our boy for some time, and this morning's news story doesn't ease that. Meanwhile, I'm starting to wonder about my blogging habit...

There's nothing more beautiful than a proud mother! We've been through various sports with our children (as well as ballet with the daughter and musical instruments for them all), imagining how they will keep us in our old age.

Still waiting on that.

It's a good sport and the exercise only is a great benefit. I have 3 boys too there a little older than yours but that just means different problems. I also run a youth sports association in my spare time. So if you ever need any advice click on my blog always willing to comment and keep mothers strong
