Barefoot said it
I haven't been feeling particularly eloquent lately. I have been blaming it on the long Minnesota winter, but fellow Minnesotan Barefoot Gardener has blown that excuse right out of the water. Her latest blog post, Poetry in the Soul, is some of the best writing I have ever read. Anywhere.

Lynne- That post brought back so much about my mom's family, about her hometown (Braham), and the legacy that I, a poet type, had to grow up with. It was simply beautiful.
Barefoot- Believe me, that post touched me like no blogging has done before. It has inspired me to maybe make a series of posts about my Minnesotan upbringing, between suburbia, Braham, and The Lake (Rush Lake). Thank you for baring your soul and sharing such a beautiful piece of writing!
