mostly wordless

I'm recycling this photo from around this time last year. More snow then maybe, but otherwise it's the same, the dark days of December. The part of my brain that puts words together coherently seems to be hibernating...

I would like to take a walk in those woods right now. :)

Even more pretty when you know that spring will come again...

I know what you mean by the hibernating mind. This is the time of the year when even the most mundane tasks take twice as long.

This,at least,is lovely in a peaceful way. Replace the trees with cars, buildings, buses, too many people...
Your photo gives me hope for my life in Asheville

FC- It's about 30 today, so I get a little reprieve. Snow is on the way though!

Forest Wisdom- Bring your snowshoes!

Jayne- Yes, the circle keeps turning.

Richard- And the hereafter disease sets in. I walk into a room, then pause and think "What did I come here after?" :)

Vicki- I know. I can't take living here for granted! Your Asheville place is beautiful.

This photograph looks like a painting. Wonderful textures.
