Nice photo! I love to see mist rising off a pond. I am surprised at your morning temperature, though. I was happy when the heat wave broke enough that my morning temps were down in the 60's again!

Oh lovely. Some sub-40 degree mornings sound really nice right about now.

Oh Deb, what a lovely place.

That is a gorgeous photo! My son spent last week in Lake Tahoe and said daily temps were in the 60s and nights generally in the 40s, with one night down to 39. Here in KC it's been a while since the lows fell below the 70s.

CarolynH- I've come to accept low temperatures like that as normal here. Strange, very strange.

Dharma Bum- I find I don't feel right if the temp doesn't go below 50 these days. My kids wake up shivering, but I enjoy the coolness.

Lynne- can you tell I'm in love with my pond? I was going to go out for a walk, and I found The Hermit out there enjoying his coffee, so we spent some time at the beach together.

Momadness- Interesting how low temperatures depend on elevation. But here we're at about 1100 feet, so it's not just elevation. The summer I spent in Missouri was the first time I appreciated air conditioning.

Turn that 38 around, then add 20 to it. Missouri.

Pablo- You spelled it wrong. M-I-S-E-R-Y!

Yup, Deb, fall is definitely getting closer. That morning mist on the pond is beautiful (even though you had to wait for a much later sunrise to capture it)

Nice picture mom. said starflower.

RuthieJ- Yes, the sun is definitely rising later. This was probably around 7:30.

Starflower- Thanks! :) I promise I'll post something about your birthday tonight!

Lovely. I can see the edge of the season in this misty image. I also love the photo of your son with turtle- that's a keeper.

And happy birthday, mother and daughter!

Vicki- Thanks! It definitely is the edge of the season, in more ways than one...the picture of my son is definitely "edgy".

I switched to your new blog address on my blogroll today...I got tired of linking from your old blog, which I assure you I was doing frequently!
