Lost dog update: SHE'S BACK!!!! :)

The Hermit just called me here at work to let me know Maggie (the Chesapeake) came back! Starflower was playing outside and Maggie came running out of the woods, acting very happy to be home with everyone.

I guess she's in good condition. Very good condition. As in, she wasn't acting hungry or thirsty after being gone for four days. Which more or less confirms our suspicions about the neighbor. Sigh.

Well, at least she was cared for, whatever the deal is. Perhaps your neighbor might want to adopt the dog? Just glad to hear she's alright! There has been some terrible animal stuff going on here in KC, and I'm sure you saw the football player on the news that had the dog fighting ring going. It is just disgusting.

Glad to hear Pooch is back! Too bad about the neighbor, though. At least they were taking care of her and not taking pot-shots at her (a problem my uncle has had). Good luck keeping your 4-legged family members at home!

Momadness- I hear stories about people killing animals all the time, so I'm glad she's okay.

Barefoot Gardener- That she is back alive is just great news. I think maybe they won't roam so much next time! Of course, Hopi the Brittany is getting spayed in a couple weeks.

Glad your dog came back-We once had a Tom cat that dissappeared for two years and then returned!
I actually saw it walking across the bridge from another town when I was driving.

I'm glad your story had a happy ending.

I'm so glad she's back safe and sound. Maybe you can avoid confronting the neighbors. I HATE being at odds with neighbors. It's impossible to get away from them.

Glad she's back! I nominated you for the Rockin Girl Blogger Award.

Larry- That's amazing about your cat. Cats are funny that way.

Pablo- She was so happy to be home, she did a number 2 on the floor this morning. As usual.

Lynne- The thing about here is, everybody seems to be related somehow to each other. And, once a newcomer, always a newcomer. So, I don't really want to raise a stink about this.

Katie- Thank you so much! I am honored! And I realize I have to go through your blogroll more often; you've got some great links there!

Catching up,
Congratulations on your 50,000th visitor. I'm very glad your dogs made it home. Scary stuff that.
Cool cuddling carrots.

FC- You've had a way busy week there.

The dog/neighbor thing is kind of unsettling. I need to let them hear me practicing with my .22 pistol more, I guess. Or the Hermit's .45.

The carrots were fun.

So glad she found her way home! Stinks having a neighbor like that though :(

Shannon- I even admit, I'm glad to have her back. And congratulations on your pregnancy! :)

Could you hire a private detective to deal with this person and get your dog back?
