there's always room for a Christmas tree

Even when your living space is small. Even when you have two big puppies living there. (Whose place is it anyway?) Even when you find out that white spruce somehow makes you break out in hives. (I didn't touch the tree after the first episode). Even when the room it is in is 16' x 12'. Even when you know this is your last Christmas in this small space. Even though next Christmas we'll probably come over to the cabin just for old times' sake.

The space may be small, but I think your memories of Xmas in it will be huge!

Ditto what Pablo said. What a wonderful memory to take with you when you move to your new home! (But I'm really sorry your tree attacked you. Savor it from afar. It's really beautiful.) Best wishes to you and your family as you celebrate today. Enjoy your new skates :)

Merry Christmas, Deb! You're right, there's always room for a tree. The universe rearranges molecules especially for that purpose.

It's perfect! Aren't they always? Is that a tin-foil star on top?

pablo- the memories are huge indeed!

Pam- thanks, the tree and I are keeping our distance, and I have really been enjoying the skates. :)

madcap- somehow my spatial perception gets rearranged enough to think hey, a tree really belongs there! But just for a week.

laurahinnj- yes, that is indeed a tinfoil star, handmade by yours truly! Mr. Attitude insisted we needed a star for the top of the tree, so we improvised. I think I'll keep it forever.

Walter- Thank you so much, and hope your Christmas was as good as mine!
