crossing the Kettle River

I've been watching the ever changing colors along the river bluffs on my way to and from work every day. I thought I'd better take a picture or two before there's nothing left; leaves can disappear overnight with a good wind this time of year.

At the top of the hill to the right is Calvin and Starflower's school. To the left is Banning State Park.

I love the fall colors - thanks so much for sharing.

You inspire me to get photos when we're out in the vehicle, but I keep forgetting to bring my camera with me when we go to the city. It's been a very protracted autumn here this year.

There's still a lot of green left in our trees, but the turn is happening down here. I guess in a few weeks that scene will be two feet deep in snow.

Beautiful. We are still green with only the subtlest changes beginning to occur.
