Before ten o'clock. Everyone except the dog was just dog tired.
Calvin had perhaps better accommodations for his sleepiness, although underneath that reddish slippery slipcover lies The Ugliest Couch In The World. It has certainly seen better days.

I think I know that couch. A dark blue version of it is at my son's apartment in Colby, Kansas.
What a flood of memories that photo brought back to me. ALWAYS without fail, when I went to Grandma's I would curl up by the woodstove after dinner and I would be asleep in less than 5 minutes!
Pablo- I think versions of that couch are everywhere. We bought that one in Jefferson City, MO eight years ago; it has survived several moves, but the fabric is splitting, and a dog chewed on it, and someone wrote on it with a Sharpie marker...
LBP- That's a nice memory. My grandparents had a fireplace, and I remember my grandpa carrying me to bed. :)
They're so cute when they're sleeping, aren't they? Looks like your big yeller dog is a little jealous that Starflower and Mr Attitude got that warm spot first!

It's a dogpile, and the dog didn't get in on it!
Just so sweet...gotta love home.
I've had days when I felt like doing that as soon as I walk through the door. ;-)
hahaha... reminds me of a picture my mom has of my sister - head down at the table - in a peanut butter sandwich...
RuthieJ- Sally is always wanting to get involved in our human affairs.
Madcap- the way Sally creeps up on top of us in bed in the morning, you'd think she would have been more involved!
Katie- I absolutely loved that evening with them. I think we were watching one of my Pink Panther cartoon DVD's, but not one of the better ones.
Thunder Dave- you and me both!
Jennifer- A family album can never have too many "sleeping kids" photos!
