"Please take me to the pond? Oh will you please? I love the pond! Oh please?"
That is how I have been greeted the last few afternoons. Sally is relentless. So I even caved in today, when it was about 40 degrees and windy. That's how dogs are.
My dog can't seem to stay out of the water either. I usually don't mind, but we just got back from traveling and we stopped at a park with a lake in the Tri-cities. Emma immediately ran for the lake and we were forced to have a wet dog smell in the car all the way to Portland.
BTW: That agate is huge. I never found one remotely that big.

That girl is a dog made for water.
Brrr....
What pure joy!
Water to paddle about in and a stick to retrieve…you sure know how to make a dog happy! Look at those smiling eyes.
There is something about a happy dog that revives the soul!
I would so cave for her.

:ynne- She made it to the water TWICE this afternoon. The first time ended up with Starflower having a piece of broken glass up her heel...sigh...
Jayne- Dogs wear their hearts on their sleeves. :)
Grizzled- Having this pond dug was THE best decision my hubby and I ever made. It benefits all of us.
John T- Yes, even if I only spend fifteen minutes at the pond with Sally I feel so much better!
FC- I cave, daily. Labradors have that effect.
BurdockBoy- Ah, the wet dog smell! I just have to make sure we do the pond thing early enough so she can dry out before she crawls in bed with me.
Biggest agate ever for me. :)
Good thing there are no dragons in that water.
You're a good "dog mom" Deb!
Simply adorable! I couldn't resist responding.
