Just when you thought the Palin jokes were subsiding

This is no joke, but it's HILARIOUS. I love how the turkey cone is positioned right next to Palin's face. And watch the guy in the background!

It brings to mind this famous scene from "WKRP in Cincinnati"

Happy Friday!

As God is my witness I thought turkeys could fly.

That WKRP episode is probably the single funniest moment on TV, with the possible exception of Tim Conway and Harvey Korman's dentist sketch on the Carol Burnett show.

I just sat shaking my head when they showed this clip on the Rachel Maddow show. Wonders never cease.

I keep hoping that woman would fade away, but it is nice to see her make a reappearance in a scene like this.

I keep wondering why in the world that guy would keep working, knowing he was on camera! Maybe he wanted to be on the news. :)

Clare- I wish they would put a collection of those great Carol Burnett moments out on DVD. I would be laughing until I cried. I'm old enough to remember the show.

Jayne- I am wondering..was this deliberate, and if it was, what was the point?

Pablo- This will only reinforce her image.

Rurality- That was what I thought; he seems to be caught in the spotlight at some times, but then he remembers; that turkey has bled out enough.

I think that Palin's authenticity is a breath of fresh air. What a contrast to the angry, bitter, and scowling Hillary, whose spin machine would have been micro-controlling every aspect of her interview environs. Not Palin. She just says to run the camera and don't worry about it.
