Sand Creek crosses our road in two 8 foot concrete culverts. Most of the time they provide more than adequate room for water to flow. Yesterday they were a bottleneck. At least water was not flowing over the road, as it was in several locations on a nearby dead end road. The vortices look cool but deadly.

Looks like "little House in the Big Flood". Was Laura Ingalls Wilder around anywhere? Hope all is finally returning to normal by now.
Wow! That's a lot of water!
The dam at Willow River has the same tree tops in the river thing going. Two more feet and the dam won't be doing much of anything.
Webb- All is returned to "above average" here. :)
FC- Did you get much from the storm there in Florida?
Lausten- I went by that dam after midnight this morning. Even in the moonlight it looked like things were raging. No I wasn't bar hopping in Sturgeon Lake; I was doing some electrofishing for bass on Sand Lake.
