You should try a Christmas bird count some time; it's really fun. :)

Jayne- I'm beginning to think there is some wisdom in the old "You go out there in that weather, you'll catch your death of a cold!" saying. I think my cold would have been more benign had I stayed in.

And the sheep- How amazing was that? :) I would have posted a picture, but unfortunately I left my camera in Jim's car...he's mailing it back to me! I can't go birding without leaving something behind...Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07879771115420282834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10304963.post-71632173921631659122008-12-31T17:55:00.000-06:002008-12-31T17:55:00.000-06:00Having a cold, and being in those frigid temps wou...Having a cold, and being in those frigid temps would have been my undoing Deb... you are to be congratulated! And how fun to stumble upon your own sheep in the course of your bird count! Our feeders have been very quiet indeed lately and the seed just isn't getting eaten (I hope our local chickadees are okay). I'm jealous of your varied visitors. I hope you feel better soon, and happy new year!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11830553767527010173noreply@blogger.com
