It hit 30,000 cfs at St. Croix Falls on Saturday. A great piece of midwestern weather history- and a fascinating description of not only what I like to think of as Big Weather but also how Minn-St. Paul were the gateway to the largest immigration in history. I recommend it to you, despite a few slow spots.

I love this Big Weather report you've posted!amarkonmywallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09677008352624269050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10304963.post-82498596661588559162010-10-29T21:53:33.833-05:002010-10-29T21:53:33.833-05:00We didn't get the rain, but, man, did we get t...We didn't get the rain, but, man, did we get the wind here in western SD!Carolinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09646529544107229536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10304963.post-48819743866159380942010-10-29T17:27:13.535-05:002010-10-29T17:27:13.535-05:00And,thank you so very much for sending that mess a...And,thank you so very much for sending that mess along to Central Virginia on Wednesday. A tornado came thru town and touched down four places taking out tons of trees and passing within two blocks of our old house. No damage here, but 2 inches of rain.

Truthfully, tho, it was one of the best sleeping nights we have had this fall. Warm enough to leave the windows cracked - no snow here!- and rain falling steadily on the roof - heaven! Glad you are safe and that it's left you such beautiful ponds.webbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15168174623602308906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10304963.post-4163717645192375582010-10-29T15:22:18.779-05:002010-10-29T15:22:18.779-05:00Wow Deb! It was kinda fun to read by candlelight for an hour or so. The sump pump did give up the ghost, but I was home to deal with it. All in all, pretty thankful for what I have and for the ability of people of this area to weather the storm.Lausten Northhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06784935133094816365noreply@blogger.com
