Before I popped over here to see what you've been up to, Deb, I just posted a picture of a white pine grove I skied through recently. How funny. And, I thought ours were big. From what I've heard, actually, is that most of the older growth white pines here were cut for sail masts.
Great branches, almost like a ladder. Looks climbable.
