white pines, part 2


what a difference a sunny day makes. We hadn't had a clear day like this in weeks.

Sun does make so much of a difference, especially when you've got a camera in your hands. Light and shadow, and the warmth (even when the temps are low) are just great for being outside, taking pictures and enjoying the view.

Just have to make my own observation here on the contrast between the two photos. The one taken on a cloudy day looks so static, so frozen, while the sunny day picture looks so much more alive, you can almost feel the pine boughs sway in the wind. I see these pines every day, in all kinds of light, and I know their character. It is my intent to share that here.
